Food and housing will cost you $35-50 a day. + trainer + vet fees. + transportation if u are not keeping at the track. Lots and lots of fees involved it's only my 3rd year as a part owner feel free to ask any questions I can try to answer.Comment -

I trained a large stable for about 25 years.
Ask away in that thread.

#26i knew my SBR peeps would come through. Anyone made any money doing this? This would be just a small investment by me at first. The horse in question should go for about $5-$6K. I would only be investing 25% of the cost. I know it is a total gamble but I like to gamble.Comment -

#30I use to be a pro but can't afford it anymore....when I was a pro....best three years of my life.......food tasted better, always got seated immediately anywhere I went.....I tell you this......it was tough staying married during those years.......I hurt myself today........Originally posted by frankzigJust wondering OH yea you have race horses but cant PONY up a hundo to be pro guess your horses are hanging with mine in the glue factory
To see if I still feel......
I focus on the pain.....
The only thing that's real......
The needle tears a hole......
The old familiar sting ......
Try to kill it all away .......
But I remember everything........Comment -

#35i have one horse that has been paying the bills for the other 2. But nothing to write home about. The hobby sort of pays for itself now which is nice and gives me something to look forward to on sat sun and Wednesdays, without any stress.Originally posted by packerd_00How well have your Horses done.
STR does provide alot of good info in his thread you guys should check it out.
JayVegas420 No i never told you the name of the horses because then you will see the stable and know who i am, which i don't want.Comment
