The interesting thing is that talent trumps all. Tiger was notorious for slowing down final rounds. If anyone was close, he could bully them into playing his round. The better a player you are, the more you get away with. Golfers like Kevin Na, Ben Crane, and Keegan Bradley would get roasted by their peers and the announcers for their slow play and exaggerated pre-shot routines. Nobody says shit about the elite players. Rory Sabatini was playing with Ben Crane and played the 17th hole straight through and waited for Crane on the 18th tee because he was playing so slow.
They need to keep track of the slow players, make the results public, and peer pressure the slow players to speed up. Langer is regarded as one of the slowest players in the history of golf. People still complain about him on the Champions Tour. Langer in the 2nd to the last group, Spieth in the last. Get ready for 6+ hours tomorrow. Plenty of time to hear every single conversation with his caddy, his rants, and talking in the third person
