I've always felt like MLB scheduling is way off. Everyone is caught up with march madness and nba playoffs when MLB starts. MLB gets a ton of focus once NBA playoffs are over, but does anyone really care that much about games in the middle of July? And then right when MLB playoffs roll around NFL is here.

You didn't get the point. Baseball is a summer game. In case you weren't aware they play in July and August. It's not about ball players being gay. They look like idiots wearing those masks.

On top of that no one really is even at the games and weather issues are causing rain outs and delays. It's bad scheduling.

Why not just start 2 weeks later and play a few scheduled doubleheaders on hot days during the summer and make it fun for the fans?

Shorten the baseball and basketball seasons by 12-20 games each. Games would be more competitive and fans would get better value for their money.

nba should start christmas week and run into july. halloween is a horrible time to begin season. nfl and ncaa at midway point and few care to watch early nba.
