Right now early indications point to Padres, Braves, Athletics, Phillies or Cardinals. Can anybody hit on any of those teams? Did I overlook any teams? We're talking about guys that are making millions/tens of millions of dollars per year and can't even put the ball in play, much less hit for average or power.

Cardinals aren't going to be a top 10 in runs in team, but I don't think they'll be in the bottom 5 or maybe even bottom 10 either by the end of the year. They've had a rough start, but Peralta is out and Tommy Pham will have a great bat once he gets healthy. Holliday, Piscotty, Grichuk, Adams, Carpenter can all go yard, and Wong, Molina are solid bats too. Once Peralta gets back they will have a solid offense. Not stellar, but not bad at all.

Bruce just went yard and they have 6 runs on the board with 5 innings to go and unstable bullpens, think you are ok here.

If they could consistently roll their A lineup out then they would have a good offense, the problem is someone is always injured. This would be their preferred lineup and everyone in it was injured for extended time last year and into this year. Their B and C lineups are a big drop-off.

                  Carpenter(fatigue syndrome)
                  Piscotty(concussion)
                  Holliday(quad twice)
                  Grichuk(elbow)
                  Adams(quad) or Moss(back)

The Braves! Who else?? Only one guy who hit over 10 homeruns. after further thought, SD might just be correct.

Padres & Phillies are very weak offenses I will give Padres the edge as the weakest based on their home ballpark if they both played in Petco it would honestly be a coin flip!

Yea when that first col/sd game showed up at o/u 10 and col -155 and then moved to col -120 and o/u 11, i knew vegas was thinking pads were getting the bats going.. Same exact thing happened today. Col opened at -150 and 10, then moved to -115 and 11.5.. Had to go big on pads o5. Worked out.. I'm thinking same thing for tomorrow.. Especially because of Trevor Story and all the shit that has been said about him, everyone saw rocks at home vs pads (who hadn't scored in 3 games) and were hammering the rocks.. Honestly i played rocks -150 in my thread the night before that series started and then once i saw that line drop and the total move up, i bet my way out of the rocks ml.

Fangraphs projections give us an idea of who is, or will be terrible this year.

That being said, of the bottom 6-8 teams, the team that will score the least amount of runs will be the team who suffers the most from injuries and bad luck out of the group.

Good luck playing the percentages men.

Then three nights ago they had 9 hits and only scored 2 runs. That's really bad. They have nobody hitting with RISP and no power bats. Mauer was a weak long term signing, really crippled them. He's a good hitter but not worth the contract he got. His stats would make him a great leadoff hitter. He gets a lot of singles and doubles and has a good walk to K ratio. The problem is he's not fast. He is basically a very limited threat to steal or hit for power. His numbers have been tanking in subsequent years. If you're going to put up those kind of stats you need to at least hit >.320 every year like Ichiro and Gwynn did in their primes.
