There is more to gambling than just the basics. If everybody had the same basic information and that is all that mattered we would all be winners. Sometimes there is something more that others have that is not considered public knowledge. Nothing is wrong with asking why a line is what it is. There is more than one reason the line is what it is. Looking at the final score I wonder how many players sat for OKC.

No there is not. Most of us can guess a line and be pretty damn close. And when it's way off the majority of us would quickly go look at who's out of the lineup. You didn't do that which I find disturbing since you have been betting on NBA games for so long.

If Cleveland is a 6 point dog today then you should know damn well Lebron is out of the lineup... only a newb would say "why the hell are the Cavs 6 pt dogs"
