#73Congrats Stealthy. Sounds like this is a good thing for you. Something like this always hurts the pride, but fukk those guys. I probably would hang with none of them outside of a professional setting, but I would hang with you I am sure.
Go visit friends that moved to a place you've never been. If you don't have any situations like that that interest you, my best friend owns and operates xhostel in Varna, Bulgaria. You would have a fukkin blast, trust me.
Greaser, I remember our fights in fantasy. You have a special place in my heart. Put at my lowest place after Ertz really hurt me, but I got you back at the end. It still doesn't make up for my loss to ya.
In any event, if we can cross paths in vegas...you're my boy. Unsure about an intercontinental trip but if that plan comes to fruition, I'll shoot you a message. Many thanks greaserComment -

#75Great time to head out West. I have always loved Arizona .Different things you can see depending on which part you go. You can land in Vegas hang there a bit and then go to Area 51 . Then drive to Lake Havasu and see Oatman and The London Bridge. Or fly into Tucson and see things there and drive to Tombstone. Or drive out to Sedona and see the Pertrified Forest and Grand Canyon. And do not forget Route 66.
Very good vacation too where you will not spend an arm and a leg.Comment -

#77Are you presentable?
I'd look into the hotel industry. You're young, if you look presentable you can get a job as a concierge (lobby gofer, interact with guests). Parley that sh*t into a fantastic lifestyle whilst stabbing beaver. If you take to the work, the advancement is very quick.
If I could do it all over again (be in my mid-20s w/ no attachments) I'd gun for entry level work (or better yet, a training program) at top 3 or 4 international hotel chains and work my way into something really interesting. Seriously. You work at Four Seasons, you're seeing the great places of the world (business centers and resorts) and making connections. Just take a look at their website - see the locations. That's where you live and if you matter to them, housing etc. is taken care of. Extremely stable work, which is rare these days too.Comment -

Big plus for me that you're a Mexican. You'll fit right in. Also, all my Mexicans love me. Always have. I'm very popular with all minorities actually.

This is simple. Collect unemployment and take advantage of free time. Don't just sit home. You'll go nuts. Sometimes they have unemployment extensions, but if they don't ,be ahead of the game and search early for a more reliable gig. You say you butted heads...I hate to say it. sometimes, it's best to stay out of work drama when you're right.Comment -

#91Funny. There's a site in everyone's local area for searching for jobs. Obviously, you use the unemployment because you earned it, but if I were you, I would type in keywords about unemployment extensions. They do exist. It would be awful if you're coming down to your final checks. Look at it now, therefore you know what you're in for. I also totally agree about a job that let's you go and they follow you as you pick up your belongings as if you were a criminal. You were good enough to work there, then all of a sudden, they have like a security person treat you like you're not trusted. Happened to me once. I told them get off my back or I will sue them for harassment.Comment -

#95Sorry to hear that your employer laid you off. Luckily for me I've never been in that circumstance. This is probably the best time to find a passion in something and start your own business. I'm looking to start my own business this year just looking for the right people to work with. Try networking or joining social groups which I'm doing right now. End of the day who doesn't want to be their own boss.
Best of luck.Comment -

#100:lol: fine stealthy shoot yourself in the foot. As they said in Pulp Fiction pride only hurts my friend.
Lol at needing a guard to go to your desk that's pretty lame. A buddy of mine who was with a marketing firm recently left with a couple of other people at that company to start their own firm. Management at that company played like everything was amicable the whole way - during talks about clients etc. He went in to HR for his exit interview who told kindly that "if he wanted to he could take his last couple of days off." He walks back to desk and his computer password is changed
Definitely more underhanded than what your employer did. The guard was probably policy and/or they saw that video where you were contemplating if you could fly off that ledge. That combined with the fact you went fight club on management (or maybe you shouldn't bring me every piece of shit you find around the office - while showing him your bleeding gums from last night's fight - is never a good thing to say to your boss, for future reference) would have had me calling the cops long ago.Comment -

#101I would absolutely assign a guard to Stealthy. Guy is a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off the rails.
Think about it.....if you ran a fukkin company, and saw a video of some Mexican employee doing a clearly meth fueled dance while pounding Chinese vodka at 10 am, would you let that fukker run around your corporate offices after you just shitcanned him???
