When you get 3 more McDonald's All-Americans every season than everyone else in a 10 year period and have 1 title to show for having by far the most talent, there is something wrong. But ya he's a great coach. I laugh when people try to tell me Roy Williams does less with more then praise Calipari for being so great. If he didn't dominate recruiting he wouldn't even have sniff 1 title. If he went NBA, where you can't out recruit everyone by 3 players a year, he would be fired in a year and would probably have the worst record in the NBA. Great recruiter, yes, great coach no.

Good points.....I think its harder to judge a college coach...... he wears more hats than just coaching....if he's a great recruiter thats part of it ...so is being a good fundraiser and babysitter.
