One last note here - 3 seasons ago, they knocked off the Zags as dogs in the 2nd round after beating Pitt as a dog.
Last season they beat Kansas as milder dogs. This team doesn't play scared and loves the challenge when odds are against them.
They still carry the motto "Play angry!"

I'm a believer now witchita defense is top notch this game. Clearly too late now.. All i have to hope now is arizona gets on a run. I just don't see it happening. Witchita is just too good at responding every time arizona makes a bucket.

No they're not...you don't lose to Illinois St and No Iowa twice, along with playing in the MVC and claim them being a Top 10 team. There's a reason they were in the play in game...and I'm on them

Why in the penetrate would you bet them then? They were at a pick at best +2 against Arizona who is no worse than a top 20 team.

If you saw what I said about the 3rd response in the thread what made Wichita dangerous was Seniors, experience in the tourney, and guards. Arizona is a better team from a better conference, but on a neutral floor and single elimination combined with coming across country against a team with the above...I take the Shockers
