I moved there and lasted 2 months and lost over $23,000

I went nuts on everything from slots to tables to sports EVERY DAY

I had my trials on life.
The best thing for me when I moved out here was that I had a job when I moved out here.
Job market is just not where it should be.
Hard to find a job out here.
One of my best friends from New Mexico that moved out here about the same time I did, already moved away last October. Job market was too hard for him to find a job.

Yeah I can help if needed. Darryl is right though, the job market is different than it was before. Jobs used to grow on trees. Now you have to hustle or know somebody. Depends on the industry though.

If you want to actually make it in Vegas, you need to cut back heavy on all of the things you really want to do out here. All the residents that live like a tourist all flame out at some point and limp back to where they came from. Sucks, and it's a hard sell to convince somebody in their 20s of this, but it's a great town to really prosper in if you are somehow able to figure it all out.

Just remember that nothing is free here. Fishhead will tell you different but clipping coupons and driving all over town to get casino promos like a coffee mug and a hot dog bun warmer is not a great way to live. If someone tells you they have a method to beat slot machines and video poker, walk away quickly.
