Seeing people talk about how good Wichita State is and how Tulsa will get blown out it seriously funny considering Tulsa beat Wichita State this year.

Even though they split the games, Tulsa should have swept Uconn and Temple this year. They let two of those games get away on the road.

I was surprised they got in because of how they finished but they are a dangerous team if they're on.

In the past, a lot of these teams that weren't suppose to get in, go on runs in the tournament. Cant' think of any off the top of my head right now. Tulsa is the more talented team than Michigan and is full of upper-classmen. Michigan sucks, other than the game against Indiana where they hit the shot at the buzzer, they've shown nothing this year.

It's quite simple....Michigan is an average team with an idiot at point guard who plays out of control and loves turning the ball over and stepping out of bounds with time still on the clock LOL. Michigan lives and dies by the 3...overall the team is unimpressive...got very lucky to beat Indiana last week. I thought for sure he was missing that shot and game was going to overtime.

That's the big one I was trying to remember. I think VCU did it the first year they started the play-in games. And I think everyone agreed that VCU had no business making the tourney. But making the tourney and being able to make a run in the tourney are two different things. Making the tourney is all about resume, which I don't think VCU had at the time. But everyone knew they could go on a run if they got in because of their style of play.

My lean was to Michigan here since the line released. The line movement is weird it's hard to imagine everyone loading up on Tulsa against a brand like Michigan. Neither team is anything special but I think a programs tournament experience does a lot for them against a team like Tulsa who has nothing positive recently to look back on.

Michigan should win this game on the defensive end and Tulsa lack of legitimate 3 pt game could see the wolverines fall back into that zone that they have had success with.

Not sure if I will be betting but Michigan seems to be the better squad

Tulsa has only one thing going for them and that's the dribble drive. Michigan seriously lacks athleticism and I don't think they play much 2-3 zone to stop dribble penetration.

That being said every other thing favors Michigan. They are skilled and much better coached. Tulsa has no size or rebounding they defend by forcing turnovers. Michigan is known for not committing turnovers but Derrick Walton isn't trey Burke. Burke murdered vcu press when he was there.

If Tulsa is like Iowa or osu they win. Michigan didn't match up that well vs them.
