George Bush didn't attend Mrs. Johnson's funeral, Clinton didn't attend Mrs. Nixon's, Carter didn't attend Mrs. Eisenhower's, and Reagan didn't attend Mrs. Trumans funeral. It appears to be customary that the first lady attends another first lady's funeral while the President does not.

As a side issue, Nancy Reagan should rot in hell for the damage she inflicted on this country and so many of its people with her anti-drug crusade.

For the sake of the GOP or conservatism.... before you go making a statement about how shitty Obama is because of this or that... do some research to see what precedent has been set by former presidents. Almost 100% of the time you will see it is commonplace.

I voted for Obama the last two terms--the first because we needed democratic policies to support the economy to provide a soft landing. The second term I was going to vote republican because I felt we needed to go back to more conservative policy to reign in the debt and balance the budget to have less hangover from the monetary stimulus.... but because my eyes were opened to the income inequality issue--whether it was more due to republican policies or NAFTA and unions--I voted for Obama again because he ibviously cared quite a bit more about the middle class than Romney.

I want to vote republican this time--again to clean out excess in the govt, balance the budget, reign in the debt, etc.... but I am afraid the conservative movement has been taken over by ignoramuses that live by the code of Jerry Springer, Alex Jones, and the Koch bros. If the GOP has any sense, they will put Kasich in there as a running mate or broker the convention for him. Otherwise they are doomed. No way I vote for a Trump/Cruz ticket.
