Just because there have been upsets this season doesn't mean top seeds won't wipe their ass with these automatic bids from toilet conferences. There is always a handful of teams that make the tournament just by simply going on an amazing run in their conference tournaments which under any other circumstance would not have ever been in the first 40 out of Joe's bracket.

You have to remember that there are a number of leagues that technically would never have a qualifying ncaa tournament team if it wasn't for automatic bids from just winning the conference tournament because they play no one ever and their league compared to others aren't even close in competition. It's those teams that find themselves playing top seeds that have zero chance no matter how well they play.

Second that - knocking off 4 teams in 4 nights including an alleged #1 seed gives an indication of the level of play.
