Looks like the Broncos has just offered him 45 Million for 3 years, that's 15 million a pop if he signs. The key is how much of that money is guaranteed, could be like that huge Kapernick contract.

This is why some franchise continue to be terrible for decades like the Browns and the Rams. You overpay for one player, mismanage your salary cap, and end up having a team with a bunch of holes to fill. Elway is like a god send to Denver because he's a proven business man. The Broncos has won 5 straight division title under him and two Superbowl appearances, all in five years.

Broncos had 2 elite receivers and decent TE's, with a good coach.
This guy will be way below average on any other team.

A solid QB should have at least two consecutive strong seasons of proven work before a team can say that "this is the guy we should be placing big money behind." If the offense has other solid supporting players (as Denver does) and he isn't able to do this- it's probably not a good idea to just throw money at the situation (imo).

Have you seen the QB play in the NFL? its horrible. With the way he's played and the amount he's played....hes not getting overpaid....there are only a handful of good QBs in the NFL and they made absurd money.

Kirk Cousins will make more next year.....$19.9 million

Ryan fitzpatrick wants $18

Kaepernick cap hit next year is $19

Jay cutlers is $17

RG3 is gonna be cut but its $16 and the guy doesn't play!

I totally agree. The money teams are forced to pay QB's is ridiculous for such regularly horrible and highly inconsistent play. It's one of the main things wrong with the game today (imo).

They have to overpay Brock. The guy already showed he's capable of playing in the Broncos offense. It's a no-brainer, re-sign Brock and get another chance at a SB. All he has to do is be a game manager guy
