Why are people from other countries so obsessed with Americas politics?
England,Canada,Australia etc
Doesn't matter.....why don't they concentrate on their own problems in their own country.

Many view the president of the United States as the leader of the free world. And things the U.S. does has an impact on the rest of the world as well.

Other countries do not have 20 debates and spend money on negative advertising to pick a dumbfukk for a candidate. Other countries do not spend 2.5 years every 4 years campaigning. And our media promotes this by having it on TV 24/7.

A train wreck is hard not to watch!
Plus we don't have any problems down here. No guns, good healthcare, shark nets around the beaches. Lifes good no matter which party is in so politics is boring and the lemmings people don't need to get all polarized and abuse the other side's supporters incessantly every election cycle.
But seriously, you just named the USA's three closest allies... do you really wonder why we would care who is going to be calling the shots next?

They blame the woes of their country on the US and a lot of the times their politicians will lie to them and tell them the evil US is to blame for the shape of their country.

American politics affects most of the world in different degrees, like it or not. Some more than others. Including those traveling abroad. Get over it.

You might be thinking of a Middle Eastern country. Can't speak for Canucks and Limeys, but I can't recall a mainstream politician ever calling the USA evil in my lifetime.
Would make little sense for them to when there is bipartisan agreement about FTAs and us rushing to jump into any conflict the US wants us in etc.

You're missing the point.
And displaying your ignorance.
Re-read opti's post if you need to but, it doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about.
Pavy hit the nail on the head. The political process has become so long, drawn out & televised that you can't be surprised that The Aprentice is winning.
