hi all im going to atlantic city this weekend and ive never been there. what are the best hotel casinos and restauraunts. im gonna play some poker and blackjack what are the best card rooms for 2/4 NL. thank you.

Absecon is cheaper and overlooking AC from other side of bay. AC is expensive and really torn up these days. It was an armpit in the late 80's and so much worse today.

The Harbor area has better poker, but the beach/boardwalk area is more fun (especially in the summer).

Just don't walk the boardwalk at night alone, just mind your surroundings and have fun!

Ceasars has good gambling atmosphere and good club & nightlife

To specify: Harbor area = Borgata, Harrah's, Golden Nugget
Boardwalk area = Caesars, Tropicana, etc

Borgata by far is the best room in town. Lots of tables, good amount of drunks dumping $$$ every weekend on the 1/2's, reliable 2/5 tables, good Omaha action if you can afford 10/20. There's a $100,000 guaranteed on Saturday (11 am, 400 buy-in) lots of ballsy tournament players. Tony Luke's right under the poker room for a good sandwich. Lot's of fancier dining choices in the casino, I like the noodle bar in the middle of the casino.
Harrah's isn't bad either but a lot smaller, Borg is the place to be. Watch your back if you go near the Taj parking garage, not a good place.
