It's the late February doldrums. Thank goodness for the NBA.....
ORLANDO +8- against Golden State. You gotta pick your spots real carefully when stepping out against these Warriors. They seem to have recently lost just a bit off their fastball and are in the midst of a long cross-country road trip. This is their 3rd game in 4 nights and have the Thunder on deck. TAKE the points with the home dog and hope they keep it close.
PHOENIX -1 over Brooklyn. The Suns don't have many games these days that are winnable. This, however, is one. Guys are fighting for their next year's job. They can't afford to lose to the Nets at home.
HOUSTON +4 against Portland. Gonna trust the bookmakers wink on this one. Portland has been red hot, the Rockets mediocre. Someone please explain why the Blazers are not laying 7 or 8 here. They must be due to lose. I'll bite and take Houston and also a small play on the ML at +160.
