His deteriorating body makes me think he might have but I'm more inclined to think he just put too much stress on his body with the heavy lifting. His natural physique was that he was skinny as a rail. Even well into his 20s he was very thin. He didn't get that big until his early 30s.

Lol. No Goat, he doesn't. Tiger is an old 40. Not many 40 year olds have had 3 back surgeries and 4 knee surgeries.

Loved watching Tiger at his best. He influenced golf in countless positive ways, more than anyone of this generation will.
BUT, NEVER won a major coming from behind. Total frontrunner, best there ever was.

Even if he could get healthy, these top players now have no fear of him. They never got their ass handed to them.
No way he could hang with the new big 3 playing their best now.

Putting on that muscle was ridiculous, changing coaches like toothpicks, getting caught and publicly humiliated banging "dancers"
all led to his downfall, the injuries just sped it up.

Today, I believe he is a very lonely man.

Technology has gotten the 250yd drivers to 275-295 yds. The guys bombing it 300+ are putting a tremendous amount of torque on their backs. The taller, lanky guys are going to run into joint & health problems anyway. Dustin Johnson lumbers around the course. He will definitely have problems.
Yep, gone. When I first started playing, a 250 yard drive with a persimmon wood was a "good" drive. Hell, Calvin Peete led fairways hit for about 10 years straight and averaged about 250 yards. Today, some of these guys are hitting 9 irons 190 yards--uphill !!
Funny, but it does seem technology is taking it's toll on backs.

He blames it on injuries but this excuse is so lame. I heard today he is in constant pain. Poor baby!
Injuries play a part but golf is 95% mental. After he got caught banging porn stars his private life went to shit and it didn't take long for his game to follow. If you know anything about golf especially competitive golf it's a grind. Have to stay sharp on every shot for 5 or 6 hours. You can also tell he doesn't practice as much anymore. I think the guy realizes the run is over, the good thing for him is he won so many majors that he will be exempt for quite sometime and maybe play well enough to get one more but his days of playing a number of tournaments are done.

On Wednesday, one day after teasing a "big announcement," Woods announced on Twitter that he had settled upon TaylorMade as his new equipment provider. According to Golf Digest, the multiyear contract mandates that he use their driver, woods, irons, and wedges. He will likely continue using his old Scotty Cameron putter.

According to Golf Digest, Woods will work with TaylorMade engineers to design and develop a "new, personalized iron model."

                                        The prop bet should be:

Which comes first? Tiger have a round in the 60s or in the 80s.

Absolutely nothing working for Tiger right now.

Think he comes up "lame/Dangerfied" and starts the WD train before he sniffs a win.

Will play 2 rounds of golf and cash an appearance check for millions.

So how come 90+% of his wins came BEFORE he looked like a middleweight??

I agree with LB. When Elin caught him, he should have said:

" What do you expect honey? Golf #1, Pussy #2. STFU and take care of my kids"

Then he would have had a public backlash, but would have kept his "mojo" on the course.
