This is a myth and quite frankly just about mathematically impossible in every situation. The books will never split the money exactly evenly and don't try to...they seek enough action.

Are you on the wind up? Obviously it doesn't matter much if the money isn't exactly the same on both sides -that they'd be upset about a 1 cent difference on one side or the other is preposterous. The aim is for them to set the lines so that they're as close to that equal balance as possible, without having to move the line about all over the place.
