I am accumulating points by posting here. If I want to give them away to another poster or a charity, that should be my prerogative. Otherwise, what's the point in non-pros having points at all? I understand why there are restrictions, but in a person-to-person or person-to-charity transaction, those rules should not apply.

They are trying to prevent people from freerolling sbr. With all the ghost accounts could get out of control. Obviously a well established sbr member like yourself trying to give charity to another member is a special case but there's no way they are gonna do it.

At least we can get him a little gift card at this point. Will hold off to see what other donations come in for a bit.

There I see tatdaddy, the only player on line, just waiting with 400 chips. Then I remember the original post here, something about hitting people in the poker room. I was thinking I don't want to get "hit"...lol

No one is stopping you from making a charitable donation and supporting the site. Once you do that, you can use your points however you like, including helping out a fellow city man.
