*Problem please help* Did anyone else bet Denny Hamlin on 5dimes?

I placed the wager for him to win at +1200, and after he won, I noticed my bet ticket said "Odds to win the Sprint Cup Championship". Now let me just say that I have made mistake bets before, however this is not one of those times. I am 1000% sure, that when I was under Sprint Cup, the headline read "Odds to win the Sprint Cup Unlimited 8pm 2/13/16". The headline was incorrectly worded. I clicked on the driver right below that headline, and my bet ticket ended up saying "Sprint Cup Championship". Did anyone else have this problem? Please no trolling as I'm obviously devastated. I took a shot with $60 on it.

I put 20 bucks on each JGR driver and 10 on jr. It was a bit confusing because only the 500 was listed under the Sprint Cup and for some reason the Unlimited race (starting in just a few minutes) was listed under Future. The Hamlin bet cashed... I almost did the same thing you did because it was a little confusing... Im guessing you made a mistake. I'm sure you don't think you did but I almost did the same thing which leads me to believe it could have happened. Also, his odds of winning the Unlimited race was +925, I don't think it was ever up around 1200. However, I concede since the future and sprint cup sections seemed to be a bit backwards they might have screwed something up. If you placed the bet around the same time I did than maybe that supports that theory, but in realty, the odds don't seem to match up (unless the headings were mislabeled). You can chat with them and see if anythign screwy went on and hope they admit to some sort of snafu (they wont), or you can become a big Denny Hamlin fan this year.

Thanks for taking the time to post this.

I placed the bet in the "Future" section of the Motor Racing selection on the homepage. It said Unlimited, however my ticket, and the odds (+1200), were that of the Cup Championship. At some point they probably saw that the race should be under "Sprint Cup" and not futures, but when they changed it, they never changed the headline back to "Championship", so I selected Hamlin at +1200. Obviously, I didn't verify my wager when you have to enter your password, but that shouldn't matter if they mislabeled the original bet on the previous screen.


This is so sick. I really hope Either Tony or Becky will see what happened. If I just fukked up, I would let it go, but I am positive I saw "Sprint Cup Unlimited". Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

I do this two or three times a year, every year, year after year, at 5Dimes. And I know a few others that have done it multiple times too.

Haven't bet one that turned out to that race winner though thankfully

Correct, reread my post again. It was the headline that was incorrect. It said "Sprint Cup Unlimited", when it should have said "Sprint Cup Championship". So the odds below that headline were for the "Sprint Cup Championship".

The 'headline' was not wrong.

I looked at 5D NASCAR odds 15 or 20 times in the days leading up the race and would have noticed.

Denny was +1000 all week until race day when he dropped into the 9s btw.

As explained, this is not an uncommon error players make at the beginning of every new NASCAR season at 5D. Thye have been quite happy to cancel them for people if asked in the past. But I highly doubt they will entertain your idea of paying you as a race winner.

They wont change your bet. Hamlins not a horrible driver to have here.
