Guy also balanced the budget in NY, hammered teachers unions, and is pro-business. he won't win as he would have to run as independent and there isn't enough support for him but there was a great op ed in the wsj today about how he could start a 3rd party - more of a moderate/centrist party. He did exactly what a governor should do.
And just to be clear - he didn't ban soda - what he wanted to do was just say nothing over 16oz could be served at restaurant basically right? You could have as many re-fills as you wanted - just couldn't get 24oz cup of it. That doesn't seem out of hand. The only place I really saw it affecting was delivery joints that couldn't deliver 2-liter bottles anymore - but thats really it right? Plus it never ended up happening right?Comment -
