The only winner is Karl. Guy gets paid and doesn't have to deal with cousins. Anyone seen cousins on court knows guy is whinny as heck. I don't know how he doesn't get thrown out of every game he plays in.

kings owner is a lunatic. i remember reading a while ago that he tried forcing coach Malone into playing a 4 on 5 defensive scheme to leave a cherry picker on the other end.

Franchise needs more than a coaching change.

Ranadive trying to exert too much control. Heard that minority ownership group trying to push him out of both ownership or at the very least the front office. Can't do much if he doesn't want to sell his share or relinquish his role.

It's a shame because Karl is not necessarily a bad coach but just didn't really have the pieces to put together a team that is effective on both ends of the court.

Organization is a fukkin mess right now and likely has no shot of keeping cousins when he becomes a UFA in 2018. Problem is that if they trade cousins the fan base will likely lose what limited interest there is in the team.

Team needs to go into full rebuild and the best way to do so would be to trade cousins for draft picks while he is still under contract as he has tremendous value at his current salary.

Mark Jackson's name being thrown out there. He's already helped one Californian team get past years of mediocrity I guess.

Shame we'd lose him as an announcer. I know most people hate him though.

Cant hire a coach and then let demarcus cousins be in control. The owner needs to stop worrying about losing cousins and make sure everyone knows the coach is in charge. Until he does that theyll keep sucking and cousins will leave anyway.

Not sure I agree with Karl being a fine coach. He's had a wonderful career - aba/ nba/ europe - but there were rumblings about him being very "hands off" in his later years in Denver. That's the problem with old coaches; they don't have the energy for the actual coaching bit. Phil Jackson & Pat Riley know how it is, they've moved on.

You can't win games when anyone you play will score 110+ on you. Even the Nets turned into a juggernaut against them. The following game? They give up 74 points in the first half to the Celtics.

And honestly, Karl offered himself to the Kings like a cheap whore, from the start it felt like a scam to get a pension, more than actually wanting to coach. I'm sure he's happy with this outcome.
