Thanks angelito. Might as well find landers for a rubber band play...
Angelino just woke me up this morning with a text for a play tonight

Buffalo was the underdog, they didn't even have a puck line and were winning.
Was that a bad beat for the Under bettors? WTF happend in Montreal?

Both 5Dimes and Pinny offer them ...and 13 seconds is a lot of time in hockey. Scoring an empty netter with a clear line to the goal from that distance is not that big of a deal
I had over5 ...so I was safe regardless after BUF scored that 5th goal in the 3rd period.
I'm not sure if you can call it a bad beat...MON played last night...they chose to play the same goalie on back to back games. While BUF played their last game about 8 days ago.
If you look at the statistic for shots on goal and faceoffs - they are pretty dead even.
Close game...I guess BUF just had more luck on their side.Comment -

I suppose only a bad beat in a sense that the bet was winning until 13 seconds left.

Late Buf puckline came through, that makes some sense.Comment -

#50The total was 5, so it was either a push witout the empty net or a loss. I have seen way more bad beats than that. I remember a 1-0 game earlier in the season in which I had U 5.5 and it ended up with 6 goals.Originally posted by KVBWas that a 138 ft wristshot with 13 seconds left?

And anyone remember Boston vs these very same Sabres back in late December when Boston led 3-1 with under 10 to play and Sabres win 5-3? I had Boston +1.5 in a +150 parlay that would have hit.Comment -

It was a poor play at -140 but ate some up anyway. I guess I didn't get shorted much on the payout...since it lost.

Was certainly worth a shot with that nice plus money at the U5...and the -140 was not a terrible play...at least before the game started and even at end of Period 2.Comment -

It's not because of trolls
...you know I can easily deal with them. Unfortunately this year, I simply don't have the time for a season long thread...and I don't wanna do it just for a few months and then leave. Believe it or not, but it takes a lot of effort/time to post plays, update record, answer all the question...etc.
I post plays here and there in various threads, but nothing to serious.

Life is hard with lots of work - nearly 60 hrs per week, and helping raise 2 active little boys.
As far as nhl, I have cut down my -15 units to about -7 now...ended strong last season to have a small profit - hoping for the same this year. Baseball killed my BR. My futures bets are alive and well!!! They keep me going.Comment -
