I went to Lexington. We beat them in 1978 on the way to State Title, he was only a 6`8" freshman though. I was in Junior High.
Kid from Burke "transferred" our junior year to Ringe. Karl Hobbs, went to UConn, nice career, then saw him coaching D1 years later.

In grade 9 was hit in the leg by Mike Weir's tee shot at Cataraqui Golf & Country Club, during the OGA Field Day. If I remember correctly I was putting out on the 10th hole.

Grade 10 I was given a concession from a stiff arm by Jerome Pathon.

In grade 11 Steve Nash dunked on me & lit me up for 37 & in grade 12, I was pitching at Richview Collegiate & Joey Vittoria charged the mound & knocked me out cold.
Later that month he also dropped 37 on me as a point guard at Richview.

I wonder how unstoppable James would be in the NFL with the mature body he had at 21 22 years old. 6'9 260 all muscle running a 4.4 with hands bigger than anyone in nfl and higher vertical leap than anyone. Makes megatron look like a child.

Nah, Goat. Played @ UMaine.Started a few games freshman year.
Was on the court against DePaul, Notre Dame, Bama, Nova ( Nat.Champ Team).
Standing next to Terry Cummings was something to remember. Body was ridiculous.
We got our asses kicked, think we were 7-19.
Played Reggie Lewis straight up in several games. Did alright against him.
