"Throw out her earlier results"? You're nuts. She utterly dominated everyone in this tournament before the final. She's still won 4 of 6 slams. You're vastly underselling how huge of a surprise both her last losses have been. The go-to answer here will be that she's a woman and women are unpredictable or some shit like that but she's been anything but unpredictable typically when reaching the last 4 of a slam.

Will she be irrelevant in 2 years time? Quite possibly. But until proven otherwise over a longer period she's still leaps and bounds ahead of everyone and will be an overwhelming favourite to win every slam. Or maybe you're ahead of everyone? Did you have Kerber +600 yesterday?
