It actually happened to me a couple of nights ago.

I had some chick +1.5 sets, she won the first round, and I assumed I won. And then one of them got hurt, and the bet got canceled. Total nightmare.

I had some Chinese chick in the us open last year at +4.5 and late in the 3rd set after there was no way possible I could lose she retired with an injury...they pushed the bet. I was livid
