Lol at only rookies think reg season games mean anything. Maybe for teams like LA or Philly. When your record is what the Spurs/ Warriors is every game counts. When both teams are competing for home court in the West, it counts. Anyone who doesn't recognize that.....
Spurs lost on purpose to golden state.....

#37So the Cavs lost on purpose to get their coach fired, Spurs lost on purpose because they "didn't care about winning" or something, I wonder why the Mavs decided to lose tonight?Comment -

It's simple Mathematics.
World population continues to grow - more people will be playing basketball...
Hence the probability of the next Jordan, Bryant, James, Curry etc, etc only increases, let alone your normal (super) stars (Carmello, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, etc, etc)
Don't you notice the general talent & skill level of players grows every season. For example the great Jazz team of the 90's (Malone, Stockton, Hornacek, etc) would probably barely be able to beat any team in 2016, maybe the 76ers, Nuggets or Lakers??Comment -

#39Going by the same logic, we can all say Rockets lost by 30 points on purpose. BULLSHIT!
They are dominating the regular season so far and it's supposed to mean nothing to them.
They got beaten by the best team. PERIOD!Comment
