My point was it wouldn't have mattered, Carolina was winning that game regardless. Arizona was down 17-0 before the first turnover. Palmer didn't give up a 22 yard td run to Ted Ginn. He didn't give up an 86 yd td pass to Corey Brown. That was the vaunted Cardinal defense. The one who couldn't get pressure on Newton. Unlike the defense that was all up in Palmer's ass most of the game. Not saying he didn't make some bad throws, but it's understandable. He was playing against the best team in the NFC, and most likely the NFL. They lost 1 game all year for christ's sake. Time to give them credit. This coming from a Bucs fan.
