this thread cant be serious that hotel room is the size of my bathroom. at 420 a day you better hit for like 20 grand the only thing that's big in that room is the window so your basically paying for a view of the rio across the street

I lived in socal for two years between 1990-92, down in newport beach.... on a trip up to l.a. one sat afternoon, my then-wife, driving the new mazda miata I bought her for her birthday (she wanted a little convertible and that car had just come out), proceeded to chase Magic Johnson thru the hollywood hills -- i spotted him driving a 600 mercedes sedan.... he started "running" from us, so we wind up in some sort of half-ass high speed chase that lasts for ten minutes..... He finally hit a red light, and we pulled up along side of him and he was laffin' his ass off, gave us that big shit-eaten grin of his.....

that night I took a piss next to Cliff Barnes (ken kerchieval) at Musso and Frank's.... I hated that character since I always pulled for J.R., and wanted to "accidentally" hit him with a little spray...... I refrained.....

actually saw way more celebs in austin in the early to mid nineties than we ever did in Cali -- Clint, cosner, laura dern, The Fly, Sandy, etc....
Clint was cool, as he and dern and The Fly were sitting next to us at this hole in the wall on Congress Ave called the Elephant Room, and because our table buffered his party from the gawkers, and we had to put up with people bumping into our table trying to get a better look, Clint paid for all our drinks.....

It's amazing the deals and comps you can get as just a diamond member with the Total Rewards program from Harrah's and Caesars.

Some of the regular benefits have slimmed down a little though. Laughlin treated us well, decent Diamond Lounge food.
