Possible. She could have set him up. People dont think logical when money is involved, lottery implies millions when people see the word, he didnt even get half a mil, not to mention taxes and if he got a lump sum even less money, life changing but certainly cant live the rest of your life off of it.

Thats why I said maybe they had to leave earlier than expected because of hearing something or people closing in, I mean somebody had to hear the shotgun blast and probably yelling on top of it. Everybody knew he won the lottery so knowing where he lived was easy to find out. They probably watched him, knew there was just a female and kids, but they probably also did get some money, I dont see in the story where it says they didnt.

All possible but have to realize most plans never go exactly according to plan, gun could have went off, they could have panicked and shot him, could have been frustrated with him screwing around with them about the bank card after he threw his pants to them and the card wasnt in there. Alot of different scenarios, but again the article didnt say if they did or didnt get any money they very well could have. And where I grew up if you were getting jacked it didnt matter if you gave the car or money over they were shooting you anyway, the stick up kids didnt want to be stressing out over retaliation so they let bullets fly regardless. Very cold blooded, I have a feeling this one will be solved somehow.

Update 11/05/2015: After several months justice has finally been served. The man who attacked my girlfriend and I back in July finally went to court. He signed a plea agreement to plead "no contest" to disorderly conduct and DUI.
His sentence is as follows:
-Serve 10 days in jail
-Pay a fine of $2800
-Be forced to take an alcohol counseling class
-Unsupervised probation for the next 3 years, during that time he is not allowed to consume or possess alcohol.
-Have an ignition interlock device installed on his car.
-If he violates his probation he will do 6 months in jail.
If you ask me, he got off easy...but at least something was done. I do not feel bad about exposing him as I hope this video will help warn new and old riders of how quickly a bit of road rage can get out of hand.
