    Marshawn Lynch retiring
"I'm under the impression he is leaning towards retirement.," Seahawks general manager John Schneider said, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.

Little surprising, but not shocking. Different type of cat, has always stayed true to who he is, keeps same small circle from Oakland, where he goes back to in offseason. Doesn't mess with anyone else, never let money change his character, good for him

Um, he took roids til getting paid. Then no more roids now injury prone. Now not even an avg back because of without it.

LOL, The dude eats skittles on the sideline. He couldn't care less about roids. Was the same consistent runner in Cal to Buffalo to Seattle. Never dipped

Maybe it's time to focus on his charity. By all accounts Lynch isn't a bad guy, he just never bought into the whole media bullshit...kind of tough for an entertainer to keep it real, for real, but once the inclinations in college showed, it probably just became his character in the big leagues.

          Good Luck Beastmode.

Good to know he's always been an obnoxious dumfuk and it wasn't the money that changed him

One of the most overrated runners in the NFL too

wouldn't mind seeing him play for the Raiders for a year or two. outside of Murray, Raiders don't have much at RB.

Doubtful. Would have to repay about 4-5 million of signing bonus if he retires. Better off letting Seattle release him and keeping the cash. No shot Hawks keep him at current salary.

If they release him and he never plays again I don't think he has to repay the cash.

This may be the scenario Schneider is pointing to.

Always respected Lynch, he's a rb who's played a long time, he's a guy kinda like Barry and Ricky Williams something in their personality that they dont really need/love the game quite like some others might not saying they dont love it but not exactly the same. Getting hit 10+ years cant be fun either, do well at your job and still negativity and haters abound. None of those guys cared about chumming up to the media either seems football is what they did not who they are.

He knows how the NFL is and the media's build-up of a person, just to rip them down. He knows how "They" are with the power of the pen. Hope the one guys thought comes true, hope to see him in Oakland!!

Lol this guy runs as violently as anyone I've ever seen. One of the most difficult tackles in the league the last few years. With that said, it's not like he's ever in mvp talks or anything so how exactly is he overrated?

Keeping his "small circle" in Oakland probably means he is gonna be one of the ~40% of football players who go broke within a few years after retirement. Would not be surprised to see him on SBR as a jjgold sidekick, giving out useless picks.

Do you personally know his "savy (sic!) business group" ? But he will also be getting an NFL pension, if I am not mistaken, so at least he won't become a street person. Those pensions were established specifically to avoid former players living in their cars. So bad luck jjgold, no Marshawn for you.

You do realize that these people would not even shake your hand ? Pretty much all of them could care less about you all.
