Truth be told... anything with "government" or "city workers" no one ever took a pay cut throughout all this financial crisis. Cities still in the hole... but mysteriously paying workers top dollar. You can't do that.Comment -

I'm not from Michigan nor am I specifically defending it, but to be perfectly fair you could take "Michigan" and swap it out with about half of the states in the U.S. The problems in Michigan aren't endemic to just that region. Most places have serious issues that make them undesirable to live in. Mississippi for example is statistically the poorest state, has the lowest average life expectancy and is always at the top of the list for states with the highest rates of obesity. So why would anyone want to live there? Most of the Southeast and Midwest have similar problems when you look into it.
A common problem that most of the least desirable places to live share is inept, complacent, even flat out corrupt leadership and governments. People trying to cut corners and costs at the expense of everyone else in the long run. Public oversight and public safety are a joke in America. These people don't give a penetrate about any of us. They just want to line their pockets and attain positions of power so they are essentially granted immunity to do whatever they please, even if it means injuring or killing other people.Comment
