The tigers owner is 86 years old and worth ~5 Billion dollars. There aren't too many things that this guy couldn't buy on a whim.

        Point: Unlimited money?

They gave up David Price, Yoenis Cespedes
Now receive, Jordan Zimmerman, Justin Upton

However, they fired the GM Dave Domrowski

I assume they want power bat in front of Miggy, otherwise this signing makes no sense. J-Up obviously well known to strike out a shit ton but he will get more strikes having Miggy behind him and his power numbers should go up somewhat and Ks go down.
Still 132 million is insane. If im detroit i would spend those money at pitching and quality bullpen arms before i go after more boppers for my batting order.

Ah... he probably figures his kids will run his empire into ground. Might as well sell everything while still living.
