Eli hasn't made the playoffs since he chose Denver. Probably should have taken the reins in SF, Seattle, or Minnesota. Oh the irony in looking out for little brother. Probably has that 2 ring if he puts himself first instead of worrying about Eli. Although Eli was coming off of a Super Bowl victory.

Wherever, he went - it costs a lot of money for him - hard to have enough money for veteran depth at all the positions if you spend a lot of money on the QB. One thing is for sure - any place he would have went they would have been at least 500 but, I do think he thought about - where can I go and have a shot at a SB!

He's three weeks away from having his second ring.

If he beats Brady and Cam he boosts his legacy as one of the all-time greats or the ultimate choke artist.

Probably more than his salary with the Broncos. I wouldn't doubt if nationwide and Papa Johns were recruiting points by elway and the Broncos

I said it 5 years ago and I'll say it again today: He should have chosen Arizona. Allegedly that was something he seriously considered, but he was stupid to go to Denver.

He had some very good choices. I can see him blowing the game and going home this weekend

Eli manning sucks. One of most overrated qbs in history. Has led the NFL in picks for 3 years, never makes the playoffs, and somehow ppl think he's great. Didn't even play that well in the superbowls. His defense carried him and then he had a couple fluke plays on game winning drives to win.

Manning 3-4 years ago on that loaded 49ers team would have been vicious

No doubt about it. Probably couldn't play for Harbough back then. Might have been a power struggle on offense. But agreed, that niner team was loaded and just needed an accurate passer to keep the car in the middle of the road.

Heard stories he refused to join the Skins because he did not want to face Eli twice a year.

The NFC was off limits because he didn't want to meet Eli in the playoffs. But the chance to go the best team was definitely in the NFC. A handful of teams in the NFC was better than ANY team in the AFC. But remember the Giants were coming off of a Super Bowl victory so Peyton could really have thought that he and Eli would meet in the playoffs EVERY year and did not want to deny himself or his brother opportunities to win or reach super bowls.

Seattle, Arizona, Minnesota, redskins, made the playoffs this year. Niners faltered. All teams manning shunned to avoid playing Eli in the playoffs
