If tj didn't push the pace, there wouldn't have even been a fight

I know. But he isnt at J and Ws. Duane isnt a sharp. You can pretty much tell that by his haircut. Probably an effective teacher when it comes to technique, no doubt. At greg jacksons level making game plans, hell no. But, should have seen this coming. The interview was kind of telling of tjs bad temper. People who claim that Dominicks IQ and TJs lack off, were on point. Very seldom can you actually go for such a strategy bet wise IMO but this time it came into full fruition! All the Cruz backers, congrats.

agree----unlike many----guy can call a spade a spade---even when you lose----while still rooting for "your" fighter....you still notice when he is getting his teeth kicked in lol...

I said this Cruz/TJ fight was close and I wouldn't call it a robbery if TJ had got the decision win.. I posted that up.. Just saw Cruz winning 3 rounds and getting take downs and TJ swinging at air...

They don't call Cruz the Decisionator for nothing
I realized how they score rounds a couple of years ago, and takedowns are very close to knockdowns. So if one fighter is taken down, they better knock the other guy down or land about 10+ more punches to win that round.
Also, I would rather see a 7 or 9 round fight with 3 minutes a round for the championship.
Also, 5 rounds at 3 minutes is better than 3 round at 5 minutes. Too many fights go to decision for there to only be 3 rounds.

Interesting take on minutes per rounds..
I think it tests a fighters cardio against the other fighter with the 5 minute rounds.. So who ever put in more work leading up should be rewarded so to speak.. Cardio is king if you don't get an early finish..
