We Did An Analysis In Office Regarding Pick Threads
Approx 70% end up in a keyboard fight
Moving forward in 2016 we will implement things to help reduce that number

JJ, have two guys ever met for an actual fight, or are they just keyboard warriors for the most part?
What is the history?

Not cool to root for a guy to lose unless you are betting the opposite side

Nobody has ever met for an actual live fight we've had some threats but neither showed up at the agreed to destination… There is supposedly a fight February 20 between two big-name posters and I believe Ohio

Does that number mean that around 70% of pick threads lose?

For football, why not just have one thread per game? Anything you wish to discuss that pertains to Game A, everything and anything is contained in one official Game A thread. Same thing for Game B, etc. So the greatest number of threads you could have during any week is 16, and in most weeks it's fewer than that.
For college football, you could have 10 or 12 or 15 threads for the most important games of the week, or the ones that generate the most interest, and then there would be one additional catch-all thread in case anyone really has something pertinent to say about Ohio-Florida International or any of the many other who-cares games.
This isn't difficult to do as long as a moderator maintains order and isn't afraid to simply delete a thread that shouldn't have been started in the first place.

I though this was going to be about how most plays end up losses in pick threads.

Finally someone is listening to me. Pick threads needs to be banned outright or in the saloon for the dopes who want to keyboard fight or belittle the pick.
