as a fan i hated the shit outta that call, but in a weird way it probably got us the win. when kc had the ball next, they played more conservatively than they would have if they didn't have the lead. the goal would be to get a field goal before time expired, not drain clock and try to get a first down. still not a good call to go for two with three damn minutes left but somehow it worked out.

The booth kept saying the Titans were going for the win. The Titans were going for the lead. I never could get why they were saying that with over 3 minutes left. It was a non traditional call, but not a call like the Raiders had over the Saints in week 1. That call turned both teams' seasons around that day. I believe that was the spark the Raiders needed to be a playoff contender today versus a usual 5-11 team.

Good points Seaborneq. I basically said what KLC did while I was watching it unfold. It didn't work out perfectly but they got rewarded in the end. Raiders are having a great season and recognizing that early was pretty sharp. Sometimes all it takes is a spark.
