I have to say something though, if we are going to let in 100 people, you need to stagger chip stacks. There was no advantages in finishing 1st on the leaderboard or finishing 100th. At least back in the day some players had to satellite in.

can't complain it was free if know chip advantage award SBR poker points to the top 100 example

1st gets 1000 and so forth
99th place gets 20 poker points
100th place none he lucky to get in

1st - 20th get 15,000 starting chips
21ts- 40th get 14,000
41 - 60 get 13,000
60-80 get 12,000
80-100 get 11,000
100-120 get 10,000

I like the format. No matter what you make the blinds its going to eventually come down to being willing to push your chips in. Whether its over in 2 hours or 10 hours.

so you start with about 90 bbs
extend time to like 13 minute blinds

after about 5 rounds, you go to 18min blind levels
then at 8 go to 20

no one does it
perfect format

This promotion lasted 4 months. Top 100 in point totals qualified. These are the results of that 100 person tourney.

The usually run 3-4 promotions per year. Player's Championship (this one). World Cup tournament. WSOP seat tournament.
