grossest payoff was ten bucks for a rabbit (recently shot cottontail at a friend's ranch) kidney.... what made it gross was some long stringy tube like connection to the kidney slowly getting shorter as the kidney went down my throat.... guys were puking as they saw that tube like stringy membrane slowly crossing my chin, then lips, only to vanish........ all their puking damn near made me puke! which of course would have cost me the bet, as one of the terms was I had to keep it down.........Comment -

Don't remember what year it was but I had gotten in through a friend with these local bookies and things went well for awhile with a stream of doing decent being paid promptly, etc. Anyway eventually I started losing a bunch in a row and doubling up until they did what they do which is cut you off. It was one last bet and I was working late that night managing a store and I was going crazy because my buddy told me if I lost they were coming to mess me or at least where I lived up, badly. I had the radio blaring the game and my employees were wondering what the hell was going on. All I remember is Sam Cassell was on the Nets and he drained a last second shot to secure the win for me, I went nuts. Not too long later everyone including myself hit on the Bulls and that book skipped town and no one got paid.Comment -
