What I meant was if Alabama was playing against anyone else besides Deshaun Watson, like Champlain said, the best quarterback in college football, I’d be siding with Alabama to win the national championship game.

Another reason I like Clemson is Dabo Swinney. Coach Swinney has had his boys ready the last three bowl games. The Tigers have beaten LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma in their last three bowl games.

My gut tells me to go with Watson and Swinney.

As The NCAA will find out, having a team with little or no following like Clemson will not really help ratings. They certainly have not put down a lot of money in Vegas on this game.
