Good luck Bigday. I hope you can find a treatment that works for your daughter especially as she starts to age. My advice is don't listen to doctors just because they're doctors. A lot of them are good doctors but they lack the creativity and intellect to look beyond the obvious.

My cousin died of MS recently, way too young. Doctors were too conventional in her treatment imo. I urged her and her mom to look into a controversial experimental theory, but they were brainwashed by the doctors. Please use the internet as a resource. Use quotes to find specific experimental data and theories.

There are ways to reactivate chromosomes. I don't know exactly how when it comes to AS, but I know there is definitely a way. Every person with AS is a little different so what works for your daughter may not work for someone else -- that's why there's no cure.

Gene therapy is huge right now as AS is affecting just a few letters of a chapter of chromosome 15. Probably why there is some good focus on AS. In fact Mayo Clinic just opened a clinic just for Angelman syndrome. Took a tour a couple weeks ago as its only about 40 minutes from our place. Truly amazing how things have come to light on such a rare disorder.
