one style of offense,conservative play calling,prevent defense from the 3rd quarter on etc etc

Eagles record the 3 years before Kelly 22-26........so how was he not an improvement?

It has nothing to do with his record it has to do with him rocking the NFL boat

People were pissed because he traded Nick Foles (not because he's good its nick f*cking foles) but you don't trade QBs in the NFL you worship them

You clearly aren't an eagles fan, Kelly has set this team back 3-4 years at least. He 100% deserved to be fired when he lost the nfl east to the redskins, who haven't beat a team with a winning record all season. Kelly took over a talented 4-12 team and rode Reids players to a 10-6 record and a playoff berth. In the two years after that, the offense has gotten worse and worse and the defense is still garbage. After getting gm powers, he completely gutted the team of any offensive talent and made poor free agency choices. There's going to be some painful seasons ahead for the eagles...

As usual, you are wrong again JJ. Kelly will NOT get a job in the NFL this off season. Try Texas or A&M in the College ranks. Both teams have not come close to playing up to expectations and both schools have alums with plenty of money to buy out the two current HC's. There is a much better chance for Kelly to go back to the colleges.

Kelly wasn't fired for his coaching or schemes. He was fired because he was a train wreck in the personnel department. And his roster sins weren't the one people think they were. Letting Maclin and Jackson walk instead of giving the big raises wasn't the issue, dealing McCoy wasn't the issue. Lavishing large amount of money of murray and Maxwell, giving up draft capital to move to Bradford instead of fixing holes along the lines cost Kelly his job.

Eagles realized Kelly could not handle the GM duties and my guess was Kelly wasn't giving them up while remaining the coach. Kudos the Eagles for cutting their loses before kelly's GM decsions dug them further into a hole

You're 100% right. Good coach but horrible with the GM duties.

Their offense never had a chance with the line they had. Bradford would have worked behind a good line but with a shit line he was essentially a statue back their and it was like target practice for defenses. Murray could never get going either.

He brought in a downhill runner in Murray and it seemed like everyone handoff he took he was running sideways for his life.
