Your right, we had a thread talking about this yesterday morning. The only play was Iowa because if you saw MSU play Oakland it was easy to see they aren't good defensively, turn the ball over, and have a hard time out rebounding anyone without Valentine. As far as the #1 ranking is concerned, they aren't even a top 15 team without Valentine that was pretty evident in the game against Oakland and reaffirmed last night when they played on the road against a team that actually plays defense. They never were in that game from the start.Comment -
Interestingly, I've watched a couple big 10 games and I had a 2H total system that looks like it won't be very useful this year due to the fact that most teams are playing up tempo and NO defense ... they historically lock each other down with good coaching and knowledge of one another --- this year seems different already.

Iowa was absolutely pathetic.
They never showed up and even in the second half there was no hurry up offense going without a huddle to try and make something happen.
