Porky the spartans have played strong vs iowa last few seasons with the same hawkeye crew around for the most part. I was thinking I'd take msu -3 or less but thought spread might come out -5 or so. I love msu as underdogs even with Valentine out. I think Matt Costello can defend Iowa's bigs down low and Deyonta Davis can score in the paint.

Personally I'm on the +3 here as the home team has several solid 3pt shooters which could affect a close game at the end. Hoping msu wins outright though.

I would not play MSU today. Too many unknowns. Iowa is one of the most veteran teams in America and has been dominated by MSU recently. Major matchup issues with Uthoff with Denzel being out. Students not back in session does help. No play for me but slight lean would be Iowa.

Ya, one thing about this game is how will MSU play in a true conference road game against a team that can defend and shoot without mister V. I guess I am not sure why anyone could watch the Oakland game and say, oh ya MSU for sure is going to travel to Iowa and win. I tell you one thing, you might beat Oakland with poor ball handling, giving up 2nd chance points, and poor defense but that isn't going to get a win against Iowa.
