Well their FG kicker is excellent normally and had not missed a 45 or less distance FG all season....you go for the TD and a defender rips the ball out and you fumble or throw an interception when you've got a FG kicker that's kicking 100% on the season from that distance to win the game and at altitude where its easier to kick you'd have to be crazy....if it had been a mid season kick he puts that through the uprights and no one is saying anything...when its to get in the playoffs he choked....that's it he flat out choked bc of the enormous pressure.

When a good QB or RB makes a bad play that costs his team the game no one says shit other than tough luck....when a FG kicker misses a massively important FG that he should make that costs his team their season he might be out of the league next season...that's ALOT of pressure

That FG kicker that blew that Ravens game FG to get into the Super Bowl had like the biggest FG kicker contract deal of all-time...they fired him shortly after the game....paid off what was guaranteed in his contract (NFL is not like the NBA...you only have a 16 mil 4 year contract if they keep you all 4 years. only probably 3 or 4 mil is guaranteed if they give you the boot...just lookup Colin Kapernick he supposedly has a 100+ mil contract but will actually only see about 30 of it that was guaranteed when he gets the boot)

Well...in fairness...NFL FG kickers usually first accomplish the goal of completely run the clock out (ending the game and eliminating the need for their defense and the other teams offense to comeback on the field) and split the uprights from 45 yards and in to win the game...prior to this game he was 100% on FGs 45 and in this season....now if you have a turnover going for the TD in that situation everyone will be asking why did you just kick the fuckin FG and take the win you idiot that FG kicker was a LOCK and you'll be looking for a new job next year...the right play was to run out the clock and let the 100% guy kick the FG through....but he choked and missed his first 45 and in FG of the season....in OT he woke backup and split the uprights and won the game so he kind of redeemed himself....although that horrific kick will probably be on the Broncos minds in the future
