If louisville had Mathiang healthy then I'd really like them, but I still think they can control the paint as is. Jamaal Murray is a beast and the best player on the floor but Louisvilles backcourt can score in bunches too. If it were a neutral site the cards should be favored, but at Rupp the cats are -3.

Any Louisville backers, I feel sorry for you. The refs are making it clear they have Kentucky in this one.
I turned it on with about 5 minutes left in the first half and have seen, at least, 9 fouls called on Louisville. There was a stretch in there where they called the Cardinals for 4 fouls on 5 possessions.Comment -

10 Louisville fouls to Kentucky's 4 after UofL took a 3 point lead with 7:53 left. This doesn't even include the turnover calls on Louisville that were perplexing.
There was a stretch where they called a foul on Louisville on 4 separate trips down the floor. Hard to get any momentum when UK is going to the line every 30 seconds.
I turned it off, it's blatantly obvious who the refs want to win this game. They'll start calling tic tac fouls on UK late in the game to make it look more even but will be too late by then as they'll have squashed out any potential Louisville run with a plethora of fouls.
I do predict that Pitino gets tossed. He got one tech (I like how they gave Calipari one to make it look more even, then toss one at Pitino a minute later) and was complaining about the refs at the half. He'll be gone before the games out, can only take so much blatant bias.Comment -
