I think it has more to do with NIU then boises defence . The first NIU drive was rolling after that they just stopped making the right plays.

I agree. I thought NIU would have more success running the ball against an average defense. They dissected Boise on that first drive doing whatever they want. Then they missed 2 WIDE open touchdowns, after that he fell apart and the fumbled shook his confidence completely
