hmm interesting for this contest that 1/2 point or 1 pt or 1.5 point.... good for anyone not on that game and still has points typically.... u dont want average in this contest you need above average results...will be interesting to see breakdowns now.

at the forum that created this contest forum majorwager line was 6 1/2

Yeah, if you're on PSU though, that 1/2 pt or 1.5 pts was huge b/c PSu looked dead down 21 in 3q.

Or if Penn st actually played 3/4 of game the way they were capable of Geo would have been toast easily....

Congrats to the winners. I don't think I'll be playing next year. It's a very nice amount of money and sbr is awesome, but it's just too much effort to keep up with and cheer against games.

To get 2 TD drives with a backup down 21, i would say they were outplayed 3/4 of the game and got lucky to push that 7

Nah they only started playing with urgency in the 4th for some reason only 1/4 of the game, if they did that all game it would have been a tight FG type game at the end.

Well, as they started playing w/ urgency... GA got hella conservative up 21, 14, and 7. If it were closer you may have seen more big plays out of GA.

So, I would say that is a biased way to look at it.

I wouldn't call it playing with urgency. I would call it getting lucky on 4th downs quite often, THE biggest one was the 20 yard 4th down TD pass.

Also, Georgia stopped passing the ball in the 4th

It's a great contest and format. Probably one of the best contests around other than Beat The Prick. I placed twice out of the last 3 years. Don't get caught up in all the hype in the thread. Just check your score and get out. Don't read all the BS.

What effort? Nothing to do after making your pix until the championship. You could just make your picks and then tune in after the final game to see where you are.

Original standings are updated. I didn't go all the way through but you can't be in top 7. You're T-7 now but either po or try will move ahead of you. Still though, everyone won't pick same side. You gotta pick the final winner and you should cash.

Yeah, you're probably right. It looks like I'll be around 9th place or so, which means if I don't count Kidkong, I'm going to need to get to pick right and have two of the seven guys miss. Something like that.
