Correct - They told me after the tryout that I would likely be an alternate for a day and if I didn't get on, I was guaranteed to get on a different day. I figured it was good practice to watch the taping and see what people did wrong/right.

Shoes aren't too bad, cause we buy 99% of our stuff online. I wear either a 14 or a 15…so I typically buy both sizes from Zappos and then just return the ones that don't fit. As far as buying shoes off the rack…I gave up that dream a long time ago.

Buying shirts is way more of a challenge. There's still not that many brands that make "tall" sizes, and so lots of times I'll buy a shirt that I really like….Only to have it be more of a crop top on me. And, due to my ever increasing amount of stomach hair, apparently this isn't a great look for me

I started buying shoes online a few years ago. I'm a 14. Unless you want to wear a shoe in Tennessee volunteer orange off the clearance rack, there's nothing available.

shirts are tough. I can't dry anything I wear. I need a tall or xxl for length but most xxl's are made for the 5'9 330lb Dudes...not xxl for length
