afgballer56 is right. Just an atrocious call. What do the Vikes have to gain, maybe 5-10 yards, which might increase the FG percentage by 10-15%? With so many things that could go wrong and end the game (sack, tackled in bounds, interception), it's just an absolutely horrible decision.

Arizona simply has to cover the sideline and the remote chance of a throw into the end zone. If Minnesota throws to a receiver not close to the sideline, let him catch it and tackle him and game is over.

I've watched so many moronic late-game decisions by head coaches lately that I have to question the intelligence level of many of them.
